Play Therapy Services
Play therapy is a method of psychotherapy that is used with children to help them express unresolved issues through play and activity, as well as to learn new and better ways of coping through that approach. The counselor may sit on the floor and use sand trays or toys to allow free expression of the child who is being treated by the therapist. Play therapy is very user-friendly and is one of the best modes of therapy for working with younger children. Some counselors acquire special training in this form or treatment and are able to help children manage problems such as bed-wetting, anxiety and depression, social relations, school problems, anger and aggression, sleep problems, and other issues common among children.
Center for Counseling & Psychological Resources have counselors who use this approach and are able to work very well with clients and their families dealing with related problems. You are invited to contact us to be scheduled with one of the counselors who are available to provide these services.
