Terri Singleton is an educator, behavior interventionist, and therapist at The Center for Counseling and Psychological Resources. Terri is an Army Military Intelligence Veteran.
She has a Bachelor’s of Arts in Elementary Education from Louisiana Tech University and a Masters of Arts in Counseling and Guidance from Louisiana Tech. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She is trained in play therapy, EMDR, ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy) , sand tray therapy, and Cognitive Behavior Therapy. Terri is also familiar with, and utilizes, DBT, REBT, Narrative Therapy, and art therapy.
Terri worked for Lincoln Parish Schools for 25 years; the last eight as a counselor/behavior interventionist working with children with emotional/mental disabilities and behavioral problems. She is experienced in Anger Management, ADHD/Impulse control, Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, and Behavioral/Social Skills training.
The Junior Auxiliary of Ruston honored Terri with the Betty Robbins Volunteer of the Year award for the work she has done for the children of Lincoln Parish. She was also honored by Louisiana Tech University and given the Supervisor of the Year award for her work with Tech’s counseling interns. She works with groups, individuals, and families.
