I am a Christian counselor and a multicultural Marriage and Family Therapist . I serve as a conduit for healthy change, especially for those clients who are experiencing cognitive, emotional , behavioral, relational and spiritual storms in their lives. I accept clients (individuals, couples, and families) based on who they are and their expressed identity without judgement. Solution Focused Brief Therapy is my preferred approach to counseling / therapy.
In addition, I believe that having the ability to demonstrate true and genuine empathy, compassion, and understanding for others' experiences are the key characteristics of an authentic counselor /therapist.
I have a Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Louisiana, Monroe. I have three Masters (Clinical Psychology (India); Master of Pastoral Studies (USA) and Master of Marriage and Family Therapy (USA). I have received six undergraduate degrees from the various Universities of India (English, Psychology, Sociology, education, Philosophy and Theology). I am a pastoral counselor for the past 30 years. I am a mental health professional for the past 12 years.
