Roseanne Hutchinson is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a BS degree from Louisiana Tech University and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Northwestern University. She brings together a holistic blend of time-honored psychoanalytic therapy with evidence-based modern scientific concepts from Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Internal Family Systems therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy.
Roseanne also integrates Interpersonal Neurobiological psycho-education to illustrate how the brain and nervous system create new neural pathways from the counseling process that help to change negative thoughts and emotions and promote mental well-being as clients learn and heal. This multi-level approach allows clients the opportunity to explore how unconscious beliefs and coping strategies developed in childhood still strongly affect their present lives.
From this trauma-informed background Roseanne is able to provide clients with the knowledge and skills to increase self -awareness and choose life goals based on their own individual values and to move forward from trauma to live a rich and meaningful life.
